 A visit to youtube would be just as good Jul 19, 2010
The instruction in this video is OK, but nothing remarkable. I think I have learned more about Nordic Walking technique just from watching the various free videos on [...].
I was hoping for something more thorough, that really delved into the finer points of technique. This video often just glosses over techniques that need more exposition.
Also it's a bit silly that the first quarter of the video looks like an infomercial for Nordic Walking. There is really no reason to sell people on Nordic Walking if they were interested enough to buy the video.
Bottom line, I don't think the video is worth the money. But if you can't find anything else, it's certainly a decent intro to the sport.

I would not recommend ordering this DVD from nordicwalkingpro. I ordered it almost three weeks ago and never received it. My emails to them went unanswered. I'm really disappointed as I was looking forward to learning how to pole walk correctly. Thankfully,after calling Amazon, they told me they would completely refund my money. Hopefully, I'll try to find another dvd or book which might be helpful.

 Get This Nordic Walking DVD and Start Walking the Correct Way Dec 14, 2008
I purchased this dvd and it got me hooked on Nordic walking! It shows all the aspects of walking, from equipment to proper technique. You can do it anywhere. I liked the way it covers walking from the beginner to the advanced and how much fun you can have Nordic walking. It's amazing how many different exercises are available by using the poles and walking correctly. Bernd Zimmermann knows what he's talking about. A fantastic instructor. I'm definitely giving the dvd for holiday presents this year. It's the gift of health! Enjoy!

A friend recommended buying this DVD before anything. I didn't listen and tried to read the books. After I realized that they just weren't helpful enough I came back and purchased this DVD. I have to say it was the best advice I have received in a while. Watching "Nordic Walking - The Ultimate Fitness Experience," truly was the best experience for an intro to Nordic Walking. It had great instruction and expert advice, and coming from a guy who is completely new to this type of exercise, opened my eyes to it. I am glad that I bought this DVD instead of something else.

The title of this DVD belies its content. True, there is some good video instruction, but there is a serious lack of verbal instruction. The video is filled beginning to end with annoying, repetitive, bad music, and there are simply too many scenes of people walking -- some are repeated -- that teach nothing. This video could have been a lot better if it focused more on actually teaching instead of entertaining. The instruction is there and it shows briefly everything that you would want to know about nordic walking and associated techniques and exercises, but it could have been done in one third the time, accompanied by verbal instruction.
